Designing Reliable Agents with Agentforce Script and Builder
Agentforce makes it easy to build powerful conversational agents, but speed without structure can introduce risk. Unclear intent boundaries, poorly scoped logic, and over-reliance on “magic” behavior can lead to agents that are brittle, insecure, or hard to govern.
In this session, we take a design-first approach to building agents with Agentforce Script and Builder. Starting from real operational scenarios, you will learn how to translate business requests into well-scoped topics, define clear guardrails, and design agents that behave predictably under pressure.
You will explore how to:
Decompose complex requirements into clear, testable agent topics
Use Script and Builder together to express intent, guardrails, and flow
Decide when behavior belongs in agent logic versus deterministic actions
Design agents that fail safely and transparently when data or permissions are missing
This session focuses on architecture and trade-offs, not prompt writing. You will leave with practical patterns and a clearer mental model for building reliable, scalable agents with Agentforce.
