Deep dive into StoreConnect infrastructure - a scalable SaaS built completely on Salesforce

In this session we will do a real world deep dive, demonstration and discussion on how we use Agentforce, Heroku, Heroku Connect and Salesforce to deliver a eCommerce platform on Salesforce.

We will show the technical underpinnings of StoreConnect, a native Salesforce AppExchange package that empowers enterprise architects to build AI-driven eCommerce, Point of Sale and website solutions without external dependencies. We’ll explore how StoreConnect allows you to embed Salesforce Agentforce AI directly into your websites and commerce workflows, enabling personalized customer experiences grounded in real-time Salesforce data.

We’ll give live examples of Agentforce launching customised peer to peer fundraising sites, answer questions of website data and providing buy it now links and order updates and dive into code examples, looking under the hood on how StoreConnect works.

But more importantly, we’ll discuss how this is built on the backend using industry standard tooling that anyone can develop.

As all of this operates entirely within Salesforce’s secure ecosystem, this approach eliminates silos, ensuring all data remains unified and actionable.

A key highlight will be StoreConnect’s patented tooling for scalable and flexible infrastructure, which removes traditional integration hassles and allows for seamless multi-store, multi-currency, and multi-region deployments. Architects will appreciate how this foundation supports enterprise-grade performance, including SOC2 compliance and first-party analytics, all while leveraging Salesforce’s inherent scalability. We’ll break down practical examples, such as extending StoreConnect for HIPAA-compliant health workflows or integrating event bookings in education sectors, demonstrating how these innovations can drive rapid business value in complex environments.

Finally, we’ll deep dive into StoreConnect’s synchronization service, which operates natively within Salesforce to avoid consuming any API credits, preserving your limits for other integrations. This leverages Heroku and Heroku Connect and we’ll show how the provisioning architecture has been built utilising all the tools we can from Salesforce.
